Abstract

It proposes here the use of a methodology that facilitates the understanding of the importance of environmental education in elementary education permeating a complete learning, that allows the student to identify the importance of knowledge about the environment in their daily life. From this perspective we seek to arouse the curiosity of the student, leading him to question the importance of a healthy and well-preserved environment. In this context, we intend through this research to suggest a stimulus for the development of the teaching of environmental education that enables students and teachers to better follow the program content, showing that the use of practical classes mobilizes the activity of the learner and builds learning meaningful, enjoyable experience that can be developed outdoors without the need for large apparatus or just inside a classroom. Thus, enabling the student to experience in practice this relationship with the environment allows an exercise of representation of the real, preparing the student for research and action coming out of the sameness where teaching is taken only as a transfer of content. We suggest here to work Environmental Education as a real possibility, showing that we are part of the environment and that we can enable a healthier life for all if old habits are changed.
