| Resumo: | A preocupação relativa ao meio ambiente é visível na sociedade, o que leva à elaboração de estratégias com o intuito de impedir a degradação ambiental, ao mesmo tempo, em que se busca a continuidade do desenvolvimento. Objetiva-se estudar a produção de etanol e o desenvolvimento sustentável no município de Ulianópolis/PA. O problema consiste em verificar se ocorre sustentabilidade no processo agroindustrial da cana-de-açúcar, mais especificamente na produção de álcool hidratado pela empresa Pará Agrícola e Pastoril S/A (PAGRISA). Optou-se por um estudo em que se pudessem identificar situações concretas do município e da empresa pesquisada, e por isso, a abordagem é quantitativa e qualitativa; o objetivo é exploratório e descritivo; e o delineamento configurou-se como documental e de campo, com forte embasamento teórico por meio da revisão de literatura. Existe a estreita ligação entre a população e a empresa, considerando a sua importância para a economia local, bem como ocorre à preocupação e a responsabilidade socioambiental da empresa para com a realidade do município. |
| Abstract: | The concern on the environment is visible in society, which leads to the development of strategies for the purpose of preventing environmental degradation while, where Search continued development. The objective is to study the production of ethanol and sustainable development in the municipality of Ulianópolis / PA. The problem is whether sustainability is the process of agro cane sugar, more specifically in the production of hydrous ethanol by the company Pará Agrícola e Pastoril S/A (PAGRISA). We opted for a study that could identify concrete situations of the municipality and the company studied, and therefore the approach is quantitatively and qualitatively, the goal is exploratory and descriptive, and the design was configured as documentary and field, with strong theoretical foundation through the literature review. There is a close link between the people and the company, considering its importance to the local economy as well as the concern and environmental responsibility of the company to the reality of the city occurs. |
