Análise da arborização e dos componentes urbanos das praças do conjunto Jardim Maguari - Belém-PA.

Abstract

Although the social representativeness and the great importance of the squares fluctuate over time, even so, they have a meaning given the relevance of the square as a public space for leisure, meeting, coexistence and socialization. The objective of this work is to carry out the evaluation of two squares, Odésio Mozart and Menino Deus, in the residential complex Jardim Maguari, Bairro do Coqueiro Belém-PA. For this study, the focus is to analyze the conditions of the squares in the complex. For this purpose, methodologies capable of quantitatively and qualitatively the afforestation, infrastructure and functionality of the urban equipment of the squares, to evaluate the environmental perception of the users as well as, their relations with the space. To verify the flora of the squares, a survey was carried out to identify and quantify the existing vegetation. As well as the conditions of the urban equipment of the squares, the study contemplates the evaluation of the environment considering both physical and environmental aspects in order to promote and value public open spaces. According to the visitors, the clearest function of the Odésio Mozart square is the practice of sports (82.6%), followed by passive leisure (17.4%). In the survey of tree planting in the square, Odésio Mozart counted 104 individuals, of which 70% are of exotic origin when considering all vegetation, including plants and bushes. And regarding the infrastructure survey, the sports court components, outdoor gym, were the most frequent structures in the square, Odésio Mozart. The square, Menino Deus, the most frequent function is passive leisure (97.8%). In the survey of the afforestation of the square, Menino Deus, 17 arboreal individuals and 3 species of fodder were counted, of which 72% are of exotic origin considering all the vegetation. As for the survey of infrastructure, lighting and benches, were the most frequent in the square, Menino Deus. Through direct questions, a questionnaire was applied, surveys were carried out to users of the squares. Finally, in addition to pointing out the main problem of the squares, would be the lack of security due to the lack of a police station, it was identified that the squares are used to gather and promote leisure to different groups of people.
