Letramento digital: Um estudo bibliográfico sobre a informática na educação

Abstract

This article aims to explain Digital Literacy using Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to teach literacy in the context of the new Coronavirus Disease Pandemic (COVID 19) that began in 2020, and the importance of tutoring Ead. Thus, reflections were made on the use of ICTs as a pedagogical and mediating tool in the Teaching and Learning process and the importance of distance learning tutoring in teacher training in higher education institutions. The methodology used consists of bibliographical research, considered by some authors as the starting point of scientific research. Gil (1999), which is based on bibliographical research. The theoretical references are based on the thoughts of Magda Soares (2004) about general literacy, and those related to digital literacy and literacy and, more specifically, Digital Literacy, based on Buzato (2003) on ICT issues and digital literacy, with the reality of the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic, it became a fluent topic in the educational system that underwent changes from in-person to remote teaching (Virtual teaching based on the guidelines of face-to-face teaching). Literacy is not just mastering the use of technologies, but it is having critical mastery in addition to mastering the use of ICT, and using it in their social practices. There is a generation of digital natives who were born native to technology but do not have critical control over digital technologies and can fall for and spread fake news and other news, which are of a dubious and unscientific nature. The tutor is often seen as a “fixer”, and he is often not considered a teacher. But the Tutor, in the field of education, is a graduate in most cases, and is therefore a teacher. However, it is seen as a lower value.
