O uso de aplicativos educacionais no ensino de biologia no município de Tomé-açu.

Abstract

In the contemporary context, a notorious reality is the massive presence of technological resources in society's daily life. Considering this scenario, the insertion and advancement of technologies in the educational environment was problematized, thus, the investigations that originated the present writings are integrated into an approach delimited in the use of educational applications in the teaching of Biology. With this in mind, the aim of this work was to: To investigate the use of applications in the teaching of Biology in the municipality of Tomé-Açu. To this end, research was conducted to identify: apps on the Play Store and App Store platforms that can be used by teachers and students in classes and in learning Biology content; information on the use of educational apps in high schools in the municipality of Tomé-Açu; etc. The research takes a qualitative approach through the collection of bibliographic data and field research. As for the theoretical framework, the emphasis of the bibliographic foundation is on guidelines such as the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). Through searches on the Play Store and App Store platforms, 200 apps related to biology teaching were evaluated. The field research, carried out in two state high schools in the municipality of Tomé-Açu, indicated that educational apps are used by teachers, but there are still gaps and challenges in this application. The conclusion is that the demand for better efficiency in the use of educational apps in the teaching and learning of biology requires studies, planning and adjustments to the apps already available on the platforms.
