Abstract

Was noted in that study the importance of working drug prevention in schools, showing the dangers it can cause in the life of a person who for some reason enters this way. Knowing that the continuous use or uncontrolled can cause serious health problems for both physical, mental and social health of that individual. The paper presents the results of research conducted in school Walmeire Borges, showing that even school research locus be located in an area prone to drug use and his students are residents of the area, both teacher and the students themselves are aware of the damage that these Drugs bring the organism. Adopted the descriptive and interpretative methodology to the data analysis and field research that was conducted within the qualitative and quantitative approach through the use of questionnaires with closed and open questions for 10 school staff and 40 students. It was observed that the majority of respondents have awareness of the evils that this problem brings to people. Professionals who deal with students recognize that there must be a more focused on drug prevention. As students, some claim to have used some kind of drugs and know the effects it causes. Other, or most states have never used or intended. Therefore, it was concluded that the study addresses the issue clearly without losing the technical standards, addressing the consequences that drugs cause, explaining the basic points about the influence of drugs within the family, school and society and making use prevention the same in the lives of young people and adolescents.
