Aplicação da geotecnologia para identificar possíveis áreas ambientais do Município de Belém, Pará, Brasil

Abstract

The methodology used in this work will be the bibliographical surveys, which will be systematized in research works, monographs and dissertations developed with specific themes within the context of the municipal. This research has as general objective to identify the use of geotechnology in the possible environmental areas of said municipality, where maps will be identified to visualize some areas with environmental features. The bibliographical surveys obtained results of fragmented vegetation areas in the region of Belém and also identified the potential of geotechnology and remote sensing to identify fragments in environmental areas that could be threatened by deforestation and anthropization. We also observed the limits of the environmental parks in Belém and the zoning of the regions identified in satellite images knowing their functions within the municipality. It was observed that geotechnology identifies parks and also preservation areas. Concluding that the geotechnology tools are important to identify environmental areas, through satellite images, fragments of vegetation within any municipality of the State of Pará. The result of this study made it possible to understand some of the causes that lead to the lack of environmental planning and preservation of mainly environmental areas, since there are a large number of projects on paper, but the population and nature, that is, the areas of the city of Belém of the State of Pará, need greater care in the conduct of these projects.
