| Resumo: | Este estudo investigou a recepção literária da lenda urbana "A Moça do Táxi" (1972), presente na obra "Visagens e Assombrações de Belém" do autor paraense Walcyr Monteiro, entre alunos do 3º ano do ensino médio de uma escola estadual localizada no município de Igarapé-Miri, no Estado do Pará. O objetivo geral foi explorar como a aplicação de uma sequência didática baseada nessa obra pode contribuir para o ensino e aprendizagem de leitura e interpretação literária. Partindo da hipótese de que a análise textual da obra literária pode despertar o interesse dos alunos pela leitura e pela literatura regional, buscou-se compreender se os alunos desenvolvem habilidades críticas e reflexivas ao analisar a obra. A pesquisa se justifica pela importância de desenvolver habilidades de leitura crítica e interpretação de textos literários entre os estudantes do ensino médio. As referências teóricas que embasam este estudo incluem Wittrock (1986), Moreira (2010), Monteiro (1972), Silva (2009), Freire (1997), Schon (2000), Castilho e Campos (2016), Coelho (2000), Gadotti (2000), Dion (2008), e Bakhtin (2016), destacando diferentes abordagens sobre o processo de leitura e a importância da literatura na formação educacional. A pesquisa foi conduzida por meio da aplicação de uma sequência didática baseada na obra "A Moça do Táxi" de Walcyr Monteiro, seguida da coleta de dados por meio de questionários aplicados a 30 alunos do ensino médio. Os questionários abordaram a compreensão da obra e a identificação de aspectos regionais presentes na narrativa. Os resultados indicaram que a sequência didática foi eficaz na promoção da leitura e interpretação de textos literários, com a maioria dos alunos demonstrando compreensão da obra estudada e identificação de aspectos regionais na narrativa. Em conclusão, o estudo ressalta a importância do ensino da literatura regional e da aplicação de estratégias de leitura da literatura regional contextualizadas para promover uma aprendizagem significativa e transformadora. Ao reconhecer o papel ativo do aluno na construção de significados, fortalecemos não apenas suas habilidades literárias, mas também sua capacidade de compreender e dialogar com o mundo ao seu redor. |
| Abstract: | This study investigated the literary reception of the urban legend "The Taxi Girl" (1972), present in the work "Visions and Hauntings of Belém" by the Pará author Walcyr Monteiro, among 12th-grade students at a state school located in the municipality of Igarapé-Miri, in the state of Pará. The general objective was to explore how the application of a didactic sequence based on this work can contribute to the teaching and learning of reading and literary interpretation. Starting from the hypothesis that the textual analysis of the literary work can awaken students' interest in reading and regional literature, we sought to understand if students develop critical and reflective skills when analyzing the work. The research is justified by the importance of developing critical reading and interpretation skills of literary texts among high school students. The theoretical references that underpin this study include Wittrock (1986), Moreira (2010), Monteiro (1972), Silva (2009), Freire (1997), Schon (2000), Castilho and Campos (2016), Coelho (2000), Gadotti (2000), Dion (2008), and Bakhtin (2016), highlighting different approaches to the reading process and the importance of literature in educational formation. The research was conducted through the application of a didactic sequence based on the work "The Taxi Girl" by Walcyr Monteiro, followed by data collection through questionnaires applied to 30 high school students. The questionnaires addressed the understanding of the work and the identification of regional aspects present in the narrative. The results indicated that the didactic sequence was effective in promoting the reading and interpretation of literary texts, with the majority of students demonstrating comprehension of the studied work and identification of regional aspects in the narrative. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of teaching regional literature and applying contextualized regional literature reading strategies to promote meaningful and transformative learning. By recognizing the active role of the student in constructing meanings, we strengthen not only their literary skills but also their ability to understand and dialogue with the world around them. |
