Acessibilidade e inclusão nos escritórios contábeis: desafios e transformações no mercado de trabalho.

Abstract

This study analyzes accessibility and inclusion in accounting offices in the Northeast and Southeast regions of Pará, highlighting structural, digital, and institutional challenges faced by professionals with disabilities. The research adopts a quantitative and exploratory approach, using structured questionnaires to collect perceptions on physical and digital accessibility, as well as organizational practices. The results indicate that most accounting offices lack adequate infrastructure, accessible digital resources, and comprehensive inclusion policies. Statistical analysis revealed a strong correlation between the absence of physical and digital accessibility, demonstrating that inclusion in the accounting sector remains a significant challenge. Through Principal Component Analysis (PCA), underlying patterns and latent relationships between accessibility factors were identified, reinforcing the need for more effective policies. The study concludes that investments in infrastructure, technological adaptation, and professional training are necessary to ensure a more inclusive and accessible work environment.
